We are democratising access to manufacturing technology for makers and designers of all kinds; we teach new skills, we boost innovation, and we foster community so that people can build better lives. We do this by providing wholly unique facilities, a pay-as-you-go factory with workspaces and industrial machines surrounded by ancillary services for disciplines of all kinds making products out of raw materials. We have built a model that makes sharing easy, so manufacturing is faster, more interesting, and fun while significantly reducing ecological footprint. Now, we are scaling to put our model to use wherever it is needed across the UK and beyond. Your Mission: When you join as our new New Business Development Manager, you’ll be accountable for: Expanding Our Horizons: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to grow our vibrant community of makers. Empowering Creativity: Build lasting connections with our members, providing the support and resources they need to thrive. Spreading the Word: Share the BLOQS story with the world, showcasing our unique pay-as-you-go factory, cutting-edge tools, and collaborative spirit. Making an Impact: Play a key role in shaping the future of BLOQS and empowering the next generation of makers. Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Marketing Manager to turn leads into loyal members and forge impactful partnerships. What You'll Bring as our New Business Development Manager: Relationship-Building Expertise: The ability to connect with people from all walks of life and build strong, lasting relationships. Entrepreneurial Spirit within New Business: A drive to explore new avenues for growth and innovation. Can-do Behaviours: You love getting things done, and in this role, you drive revenue generation activities, which result in increased profit-making opportunities. Strategic Mindset: A knack for identifying opportunities and then both developing and executing plans to achieve revenue and success. Passion for Making: A genuine love for the creative process and a desire to empower others to make their ideas a reality. What We Offer: Salary range: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience Based in a newly renovated and the UK’s first open access factory (N18 3QT).
